What a day.

Wow. Thats all I have to say about wednesday.

Wednesday set a couple of personal records for me. They included my longest total online session (20 hours), as well as my largest profit in a day (which Im not going to say NOT because I am humble like that, but really rather embarrassed about it haha.)

I started a little after I woke up, playing the 10r and the 815 22 deepstacks. As I continued I continually added tournaments, which basically was any rebuy and any guarenteed prize pool (<33333 3k stacks). I felt very very confident in my game, and while I took a few beats, I felt very strongly and confident about my play.

I sattied myself a seat to the warm up playing a freezeout, which was a nice 215 in the pocket after unregistering. I decided to bump up my tourney schedule, and include a 50+5 gtd or two.

Playing in the daily 15k (10 min levels) I chipped up some and never stopped. Even though I despise 10 minute level tournies, I view them more like tourneys in a casino, and did rather well. I ended up pushing j9cc into KK on small vs big blind on the final table bubble. He had me barely covered, and I picked up some outs vs his top set on a K107 flop. I bricked the turn but lucky 8balled the river, and went into the final table 2nd in chips (CL had about 1.3 mill to my 400k, lol)

I played ok at the final table, but definately wasnt pleased with it. I ran really gross in spots where people would blind down to 1.5 bbs, shove my big blind on their button with what one would imagine would be a very very wide range, and wake up with a monster hand. I doubled up a couple of kiddies, and ended up busting 5th for about 960.

So me and Danewfdonk decided to swap some action, and one of the tournaments was the 50+5 25k GTD. This was only my 2nd 50 dollar buyin ever, so I was amped to get a stack going by the time antes kicked in. Newfie had a stack too, and we both ended up moneying the tournament. I came across a very gross spot though.

About 5 from the money, I have about 9 rounds at the 8/1600 level. Im in the sb, and UTG raises it 3x to 4800. I got JJ, which being out of position to an UTG raiser is a really sticky spot. It folds to me, and with very little timebank, I opt to repop to 12k with roughly 17k left behind. BB folds, and he goes all in, and I throw up a little in my mouth. I bank out and let stars muck for me, but I was pretty sure I was beat. If I called and lost I was down to about 1500 chips, but I felt like I had gotten enough information out of his 4 bet. Thank God, he later told me he had QQ.

Anyhow, NewfDonk again accumilates a monster stack, and again gets AA cracked in a monster pot all in pre vs QQ and JJ, when JJ turns a boat. But he kept his composure, played some A+ poker, and wound up taking 2nd for 5k+.

The night had to continue though, and I kept on grinding. Dolan came over and we had a session (in a few senses of the word).

It came down to my last tournament, the 3 rebuy. I noticed some very aggo players at my table during the 2/4k level, and we were all very deepstacked ( I had 20 rounds, my two targets had 40+ rounds).

Just so you know, I knew entirely how this hand was going to play out in my head before the action was even raised (minus the getting outflopped part). I am happy with the play though. Based on my read I think this play was very +EV.

Like I said, read was on, outflopped, but justice prevailed :)

After this, I rollercoastered rediculously. I built up a MONSTER chip lead, like 70+ rounds, to like 800k, only to watch it drop to about 450k, only to watch it rebound to 900k plus, which dropped down all the way to 140k at my lowest. I then resumed the comeback, and chipped up to about 1.4 million by the time we hit the final table bubble.

This was a sick bubble, probably lasted about 20 minutes, and I managed to chip up to about 3.3 million and at one point the chip lead by constant abuse. Everyone was very even in chips and no one was in immediate danger for bubbling the ft. I figured it would be an optimal spot to make a play, and had to wait a little while for the right spot. This was the hand which started it.

That gave me alot of raising chips, and gave me a great opportunity to take the tournament down. Unforutnately, by the time we hit the final table, the blinds were 50/100k, meaning there was a lot less play involved than I would have liked.

5 handed, I made a move on the chip leader for about 75% of my stack, which unfortunately didnt work. I proceeded to then pick up about 4 of the next 6 pots (300k a round the price), and then busted when I jammed A4hh from the sb. The BB barely had my covered, and nearly tank/folded but called at the last second with 99. GG me, 5th place for about 1040.

And that ended my long ass day. It however, gave me a crucial roll for this weekend. Danewfdonk is flying down here, and me and him along with JRD312 will be in Biloxi for what looks like the week. Ill be messing around with donkaments and cash games, and theyll be trying to satty into the 10k WPT event. I can't fucking wait.

Today I'm going to be playing live at our local cardroom, getting my live juices going playing a 100 mtt and some 1-2 100max buyin, lmao. Can't fucking wait for this upcoming week, only expecting even better things to come.
